It's behind the passengers kick panel. Just the carpet back a little bit, pull the panel out, unplug the connectors and unscrew the bolt and pull it out.

Expanding on the above a little bit:

You need to remove the passenger side door kick plate. It's that plastic piece that runs along the floor under the door. It has metal clips. Pull on it straight up and it will come off. Next, remove the kick panel (the panel which would be to the right of your feet if you were sitting in the passenger seat). It has one christmas tree pin in it, pull that directly out first, then the panel will slide out towards the door. It's got a couple of clips holding it too, so just be gentle and have patience.

Right back behind some wires you'll see the ECU. If memory serves me right, it's held in by a 7mm screw which is pinning it between the body and a white plastic frame. Remove that tiny screw first. There's a main screw holding the connector into the ECU, again if memory serves me right, it's 10mm. It will unscrew a very long ways. Unplug it from the ECU, being careful to not bend the pins.

Lift the little plastic frame and slide the ECU downwards and out. Wiggle it out from behind all the wires and you're done! It's easy
