Default Headlamp Lens asembly replacment (fogged)

Hi my headlamp lens on the main units are in real bad shape. Tried to clear them up but the hot Phoenix sun really took their toll. I see on EBAY that they have some cool projector style lens's for $100. The question is do I have to pull the bumper to install. If so how hard is it to pull the bumper on these?

Thanks,

Foxtrot

No, pulling the bumper is not necessary. Go buy a chilton.

Look down at the back side of your corner lamp from the inside. There is a nut. Take it off. Behind the headlamp is a small clip holding a stud. Remove it. Pull the corner lens out my depressing the tabs on th lower stud and pulling out. Now depress tabs on the back of the headlamp studs. Pull. Voila. Don't break the plastic nuts as they are part of the aiming system.

Still, it's always advised to own a teardown manual for every vehicle you own. Chilton and Haynes, both are recommended. I happen to own both.

I know on the 99 GT I have its just 2 rod like things you pull up and out on to get the whole light assy out. Not sure if its the same on 98s or older.
