dented oil pan need help

Default dented oil pan need help

The jack slip and hit my oil pan now the is kocking or tapping loud the dent is in the front middle of the pan what do I need to do

Yeah I'm not goin to drive it do I half to jack the engine up to get the oil pan out and should I buy a new pan or fix the dent in the old 1 with a rubber hammer

Yea jack the car up or put it on ramps. You could try the bang it out but if its creased it will have a weak point. Regardless its going to be weaker now. If it was my car I would replace the pan

Yea you should hope it didn't do to much scrapping. If the pan went that far up replace it

how the hell do u get the oil pan out i have the engine jacked as high as i can get it with a cherry picker but it still is not enough to get the oil pan out i really dont want to drop the k member do yall have any ideas

Drop the K member or pull the whole motor. Good luck, it's a PITA.
