i was just wondering how much heavier they are, if any than a normal coupe? also which ones come with the white top?? i have seen some yellow ones with a white top and they look the best i think. i was wondering if any other colors came with white tops, and what year do the yellow ones come with white tops.
The vert is about 250-300 pounds heavier and only a few ticks slower.. The specs on the 99 Mustang GT was 14.1 for the coupe and 14.3 for the vert...The 0-60 times were 5.4 for the coupe and 5.7 for the vert.......see where i'm going with this....Not that much of a difference...a simple change of the exhaust or a gear change would be the difference.

well i am looking into buying a 99-04 so thats the years i am looking at. i was just wondering, becuase i have only seen certain converibles that i like. i do like the green with the tan top thats in emann0007's sig. i think that looks nice. thanks for the help. oh there is really no particular reason i am looking for a converible. its just something i think would be cool. i'm not 100% sure i want one yet though. it just depends on what i plan on doing with the mustang in the long run.
