Default have a question about an article in this months hot rod magazine.

They have an article about a turbo build that cost less than 3k on a 4.6 2v PI motor. It breaks down the cost of everything point by point, and it ended up putting out 592hp. The thing is though its an ebay turbo by cx racing. I was just wondering if this would be a valid build that wouldn't blow up my motor.

If you have the stock rotating assembly, 592rwHP would indeed grenade the engine--420rwHP give or take is the limit for the stock bottom end...

I don't think it would blow up your motor if you keep it at less than 400rwhp and watch the torque as well. However, the turbo itself might blow lol.
