Default mushy brakes

I finally got to install my MM lower control arms this weekend and ran into a few snags. I went to take my caliper bracket bolts out with no luck at all even with a impact so instead i unhooked my brake hose going to each caliper and stood my brake hoses straight up so I wouldn't lose all my brake fluid. Got everything back together hooked my brake hoses up an bleed both front calipers startong with the passeger side then drivers side.

The whole time me and my dad who is the (pumping man) is bleeding them he keeps saying that the pedal keeps going to the floor as he pumping, all the while there is no air but plenty of fluid coming out when I unscrew the bleeder valve. did the passeger side 10 times no difference. divers side finally got some pressure but the pedal almost goes to the floor before the calipers grab.

Do I need the bleed the master cylinder too? I never let the fluid go down past the min mark on the master cylinder so I didn't think I would have an issue there.

Try bleeding all 4 first, I know you didnt do anything to the rears but sometimes it helps. Have you had any problems with a low pedal before?

I had to get new bajo washers on both calipers. they were leaking a very small amount and then had to bleed the front valve on the master cylinder to get them to work right again.

I dont no what or how im gonna get those caliper bolts off when I do my cobra upgrade. I guess a new ingersroll composite impact is in my near future.

You start with the master cylinder? I was just thinking from furthest away to closest which would be master cylinder last?

Yeah you never have to bleed the master cylinder unless it is run totally dry, Glad it worked out for you. You try a Big breaker bar? I know you should be ok with that gun, I have the cornwell version of it and it breaks away at like 1100lbs.

oh yeah like 4 ft plus a pipe and nuten. I was just gona buy new spindles if I cant get them lose but can't find anyone who sells them. I barley got the strut to spindle bolts lose and the a arm bolts were probably worse than them. needless to say I work up the next day feeling about 40 years older.
