Unhappy Ongoing clutch issue..... HELP!

I have had horrid luck with clutches in my 03 GT, It started when i originally replaced it with and RAM clutch from American Muscle after blowing 3 of them to complete pieces the last one cracking the bell housing(all clutches were replaced under warranty) I decided to go with SPEC stage 2 kevlar clutch instead(rated at 500hp/tq) my car has very mild bolt ons but of course planning for the future haha. Well i just recently brought the car out from storage for the spring and summer and have been driving it EVERYDAY that its nice/not raining or snowing out cause ohio had CrAzY weather haha But these are the first few times driving it since i replace the clutch and well I have a slight vibration right as the clutch starts to grab.... is this normal? if not what could it possibly be?

NOTE: Everything in the tranny has been replaced flywheel TO bearing etc... i mean all of it.... PLEASE HELP THANK YOU!

sounds like clutch chatter maybe.

instead of a vibration, is it more of a shudder?

could be the more aggressive mating surface of the clutch

Its a spec clutch, its going to chatter. Nature of the beast. Going to have to get used to it. Or figure out why you cant keep a clutch in one piece and run a stock clutch.

shudder is a good way to describe it actually. @white oh it doesnt bother me one bit i just wanted to make sure it wasnt going to end up like the POS RAM clutch. AM said they had nothing but issues out of them last year thats why they sent me the SPEC clutch instead. thank you for your input btw!

wow your an idiot. Stock vr4's depending on the year have over 300 hp at the crank and most if not all are awd.

It may be a heavy car but it is a quick car.

0-60 5 sec.
1/4 mile 13.5 at 105 mph

My Spec Stage 2 clutch made alot of noise too and had a chattering problem.
Then 5K miles later my Spec Stage 2 clutch disc failed on me.
Try a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch and your luck with clutches may change!
This is absolutley HORRIBLE advice. Do NOT replace your clutch right now. Anyone with any commen sense would understand if you blew out THREE clutches and now you are having trouble with a 4th there is a serious issue somewhere else or possible a very BAD installer. Find out the real problem first.

turbo 4 cylinder cars are cheap power. you can put down HUGE numbers and still get 20+ mpg. im amazed at how these guys with their turbo's and 4 cylinders think they're the shiz because of it. it's almost like cheating. get a chip, and you're good. screw that.

Um, when did this vr4 vs purp race go down? I sure as hell didnt know about it.

If this clutch blows apart, then obviously there is trans issues. But the OP isnt talkin about this one exploding..yet. Its a spec clutch, and my experiences with them always end up with chatter. They are strong, hold good power, but just chatter a bit on release
