I had this happen to me once in another car. It turned out the drain hose that is suppose to get rid of the water that gets into where the evaporator for the a/c is got clogged. Every time it would rain or I washed the car I would have the same thing. A wet carpet on the passenger side. After checking I saw water coming out floor heater vent. Checked and found drain clogged. Best thing to do is pull back the carpet and have someone spray water at the windsheild and cowl while you look for leak under dash.

I wouldn't wait to long. If you allow it to keep getting wet you will get mildew and that nasty mildew smell.

same here in MA..snow sucks. M. Nature .
Hey do you have a AMP in your Mustang ?
If so water can be running down wire that goes from batt to Amp wire if hole was made in firewall for it.

Also if you open the doors theres a small rubber plug that sit in door jam.
See if that rubber plug is there.( Its near door hinges) water can come in from there and soak floors.

GL

Where in NJ are you? I'm in Central Jersey and we got like a bare covering that melted by noon. The most that stuck was on my car.

Vernon in Sussex County. Most of the snow melted with the rain but there is still some on the ground. Now they're saying another 4 inches for Wednesday. FML!
