Forget the whole stage business. Go by specs.

If the 270's do happen to clear in your case (at the advertised specs) it's not what i would call "good" or safe clearance. You'll be riding the razors edge with these cams.

Like i mentioned earlier the CMS stage 1's or the MHS stage 2's would be a better fit for you.

274s ftw! no just joking for what your looking for look into mhs as others have said because theres a wider selection that do not require changin the valve springs. Even call them up and tell them what you want to do and theyll help you out.
