hello i have a 1999 mustang gt 5 speed that has been actin up. when i bought the car it would grind goin into second and third, and one day it got stuck in third and my dumb cousin tried taking it out of gear without putting the clutch in and i finally got it out of gear but the clutch was ticking. u could hear the ticking when it was in neutral or in any gear while the clutch was not being pressed. i let my uncle take over the car and he gave it bk, and now when u turn on the car the ticking has gotten way worse and noticably loud, and now the shifter vibrates and makes a noise. but still when i push in the clutch pedal it all stops but once i let go of the clutch it starts maken that noise and the shifter starts vibrating real bad too, so i replaced the clutch today and nothing has changed and i took it out for a spin and it was hard to put into gear now. i stayed at a stop sign for 2 minutes trying to get it into 1st gear. plz sumone give me suggestions to what this could be

did you replace the throw out bearing when you did the clutch? they are known for making a sort of chirping noise when they begin to fail (some fail as early as 500 miles apparently).

did you have the flywheel resurfaced? do you have an aftermarket shifter?

yes, did replace the throw out bearing, and have a b&m pro ripper short throw, and now didnt mess with the fly wheel
