Default intake pipe good size?

Hey guys after you added a bigger TB did find it necessary to get a bigger intake pipe? If so where did you find one?

Not really, you just have to kind of work the stock tube so it'll slip on. Now for anything bigger than 70mm idk more than likely yes. I was able to stay with my stock tube

Well I ha e a 78 mm. So the pipe can fit right into the tb. I figured this was bottle necking it. And was wondering if there are larger pipes to use. If so where can I purchase it

Yeah I would imagine you would have to get a bigger intake pipe, it was hard enough to get it on my 70mm on there. You could try heating the pipe up with a hair dryer or heat gun, to make it more pliable though

I know i had a tough time getting my K&N CAI tube to go on to my 75mm throttle body.

Im not making myself clear. What I mean is my intake pipe its self is the same size it has always been. If I throw in a big tb like I did is my intake pipe now bottle necking it?

no you cannot put the tube inside the tb. yes you will bottle neck it when you put on the stock tube. yes you will need a bigger fitting if you want the tube to fit over the tb comfortably.
