it's amazing how much a tune can help when you're comparing it to one that's pretty lackluster. my '95 had a crappy tune on it at one point, got 12.8's out of it. then i swapped my lca's and got a mail order and got 12.2's. dropped 6 tenths by some lca's and a mail order. if your mail order isn't performing good then I think a custom tune would net you 11's for sure like you're looking for. but how the heck did you run it so quick? lol. just 2 hours ago you were asking about the times and now you've already ran it. lol

I was a little embarressed to post my time with all the mods, the actual weight of the car 3,055 lbs if the scale was accurate, tires & suspension, aluminum flywheel, ram clutch, stock trans & shifter, stock rear w/4:10 gears. I was hoping for a 11.90-12.00. When i had my 1990 5.0 it ran 11.90 with HCI 3000 lbs with driver with the factory stock ecm and no tune.

It was faster at WOT, had better throttle response, etc...

So my point is, in your case (having a full HCI setup) you should benefit from one far more than i did at the time with just bolt ons.

That's just my opinion.
Thanks i appreciate your input and help.

I realize i should've waited to have it tuned on the dyno, hopefully its not too late. I was wondering if the tune is hurting the car, i doesn't run that well under 2500 rpm and i've had a couple of codes. Does anyone know if i can cut 0.1-0.3tenths off the 12.119 time with a custom duno tune?
Update 4/14/2011
Now I feel like sh!d, I installed the cams, than ran this car for 4 months, and made 5, 1/4 miles passes with the left cam installed 180* off. I took everything apart and reinstalled the cams.
Update 4/17/2011
Cams are installed correct now, the miss is gone. Seems like it runs much better. Will it make more hp/tq?
