Well my local ford dealer is useless for parts..
I was pulling my calipers for cleaning and found I was missing a caliper to bracket mounting bolt, so I went to the local dealer, ordered what they said was the right bolt, given a detailed description of the bolt and where it went.
Today I go to pick it up and its not the right bolt, its the huge bracket to axel bolt.
So he asks me the following...
Make and year?
me-2001 Mustang GT
him- V6 or V8?
me- serious? Its a GT..4.6 buddy.
him- OH...sorry.
SO he fumbles around at his computer and finally spins it around and asks me to point to the bolt..which I did.
Then 5 minutes later he tells me I can only get that bolt if I buy a "pin kit"..Which I dont need, my pins are free and smooth. The kit is 20 bucks.
Then he suggests going to a salvage yard...
wow....Gotta love it.

seems typical. I worked at ford for years. all the little common things, outta stock or unavailable. But random useless crap was always on the shelf
You best bet is to take the remaining bolt you have left, go to a hardware store and match it up
