Default Traction Control.

My 99 GT has the dash light, wiring connector and sensors but no button. Who knows where the Traction Control modal would be? Or are the 99s incapable of it?

Thanks

just out of curiosity, why would you want it? i've found it very frustrating and more useless than helpful in any situation...

I really dont, but i had my dash apart yesterday and it made me wonder. I plan on removing the ABS modual and run new lines when i do my motor swap.

nice, i was thinkin about that too, but i decided against it due to time. need to get my damn car running asap.

i'd say no reason to invest into it. i have mine disabled through the tune. if i could give it to you, i would. i think i used it maybe for like 6 months when i first bought the car, then realized how useless it was, and every time as i got in my car part of my ritual was to turn it off.

Traction control was an option in '99. (My '99 didn't have it.) Maybe it's wired, but you don't actually have it?

Nope, from what u can tell is the only thing missing is the button. I would never use it. I like hard launching on the streets for practice on how much to slip the clutch and feathering the throttle for when it breaks loose.

Weird. Well, usually the traction control is automatically 'ON' whenever you restart the car. To turn it off, you press the button. Does removing the button disengage the system?
