-i dont know but the fuel system is only good, untill 350hp so if you want a low of hp you will need a new fuel system.

Forged internals being just a new rotating assembly?
is this a question? if your are asking if a Forged internals are considered a rotating assembly, then Forged...Crank, Rods, Pistons are a forged rotating assembly.

PI swap - does anyone know the place thta has the kit for around $1300 ? I had it bookmarked before :|
look on ebay, a complete kit is about $1350. but then you need to install it, if you dont it usually costs about $800-1000.

How much hp/torque can my rear end handle before snapping.
The Axles are the weak link in 8.8's, and i dont know for sure, probable 400 Lb-Tq with slicks and a droping the clutch at 3700 Rpms and a good clutch.

Any one want to help? am i correct

I imagine the stock block can handle alot more than 350HP.

IDK how much horsepower the stock block can handle but unless you are pushing 500+ RWHP I wouldn't really worry about your stock shortblock.
Normally when people say forged internals they are referring to your bottom end meaning crank, rods, and pistons.
Its called Parkway Ford apparently now its $1350. http://www.parkwayperformance.com/2vheadswap.asp
As far as the rear end like like somebody else said the axles are the weak link, on slicks with a high mileage car once u get above 300 rwhp or so on slicks I wouldn't take my chances anymore and just go get some 31 spline axles.

That block will handle well over 600HP easy with good forged internals. I assume you're planning on forced induction? [Nod head yes]. Good. If you're going to bother getting forged, then you need to seriously consider P&P on those heads while you're at it.

Now, if we're talking torque, then axles are a good idea. If you're over 400 then you'll need more work out back. Gears, upper and lower control arms, and work on the torque boxes. At a minimum, have the factory boxes welded fully, but I encourage getting a UPR kit or battle boxes if you're running 400+ and doing hard launches.

But, this is only one opinion and I'm sure there are many more to come.

Good luck

My list :

pi heads/intake / kit to do install for about $1000 canadian
cobra brake conversion kit
75mm acufab throttle/plenum
slp loudmouth / xpipe offroad
steeda 42 lb injectors
steeda upper control arms
forged internals (still looking for good place to buy em)
stage 2 king cobra clutch
aluminum driveshaft
18" cobra rims
150 shot wet nitrous kit (zex prolly)

everything minus the I think should cost me around 9k canadian

if anyone has a place to get forged internals for a decent price (quality, but not overpriced quality) let me know ;D modulardepot is expensive
