It looks like **** if you don't have it lined up with the side wells. Youll have about a 1/2 to 1'' of gap in the front in the middle if i remember right when I put one on my v6. I used ducked tape to hold up the sides first, then put a piece in the middle then 2 more pieces where the chin spoiler hung a bit, then start drilling away and mounting it.

Idk if i would say it looks like **** when not lined up with the sides. Mine isn't and i actually like it a lot. Doesn't bother me. Worth it for the flush front look. I don't like the tucked under look. That's why we all mod cars differently though. Everyone is different!

I went flush with the wheel wells on mine, and I have a decent sized gap at the front (1/2" or so). I have friends who did the same thing and don't have that much of a gap. I am guessing some differences in manufacturing?

I do not mind the gap all that much. I would rather have the gap at the front than by the wheels.

Mine looks wavy in pictures but it's really not. It's weird. The problem is that 99/01 front bumpers are meant to take different lips. Not mach 1 lips. So that's the main problem right there...

They don't make lips for 99/01 only the Mach lip or the 03/04 cobra lip which is too plain for me

I'm like 99.99999% sure one company made a lip for the 99/01 cobra front bumper. I just did a quick google search and i can't find it. It was like an $800 lip IIRC....

I'm glad I read this because I have one sitting in the garage I need to mount. Sounds like they needed to make them a little longer...

Yeah I know what you're talking about. I meant ford chin though. The one that company made look terrible though
