if it's bothering you that much and it's only on the exhaust a propane torch will burn it off there pretty quickly. Personally, I would just let the exhaust burn it off for me LOL. I don't give a rat's *** what the bottom of my car looks like.

you can get coil cleaner acid from any hardware shop
Or muriatic acid used for pool maintenance. Two gallons of the stuff runs $5

i had a huge plastic bag wrap around my my y pipe and manifolds in my camaro i used to have, just as i was leaveing for a long trip and it smelled bad and it eventually melted off in about a week or so
