Default Windshield Cowl Install

Ok first off this was a pain in the butt to take off. After taking it off it was time to put the new one on. I bought mine from ebay it is a Fiberglass cowl. I bought fiberglass hoping it would be stronger than the p.o.s that comes on it. Well after putting it on I noticed a lot of space between the cowl and the windshield. I went to advance auto and walmart neither one had the weatherstripping that goes there. The new one didn't come with it. I don't know if it is a must or not. Is there a specific name for this weather striping or maybe a place where I can buy it? I am pretty frustrated with this whole thing. I took some pics I will upload after dinner to give you a idea of what I am talking about incase your lost.

Any help would be awesome, thanks!

Here are the pics!

Is there anyway of taking the weatherstrip off the old one and putting it on new one? Very interested in this, as I was about to buy one from there also.

I tried to take off the old one but it is stuck with some kind of very strong tacky stuff. All I ended up doing was breaking it.

I know a lot of people have problems with these cowls. I figured with all the research I did online I would have seen something about the weather stripping. The fiberglass cowl I bought looks great! Now if I can just figure out how to fill that gap.

Come on someone has to have changed theirs out. Where can I buy this weather stripping? Thanks!

No I bought the fiberglass one for $120 shipped.. They are $220ish for the oem one. But I don't think I would buy it again if I did it all over again. To much hassle. It seems like the fiberglass cowl is so much stronger and stiff that it doesn't want to "lay" on the windshield. It kind of sticks up which is why I want the weather stripping.
