Default coolant in the spark plug wells...?

I have coolant in the two wells closest to the firewall on the passenger side...i know that there are a lot of problems with the intake manifold causing this problem, but from what i have read on other threads, for the most part the coolant in the wells on the other threads were up closer to the thermostat. since my problem is on the exact opposite side of the "normal" leak should i be considering alternative solutions to this problem, or do i need to take the manifold off again and check it for cracks in the rear of the manifold...?

thanks for the help!

I had a leak on cylinder 7, So no, the leak isn't always going to be close to the thermostat.

my first thought was the intake as well. If you have a way to pressurize the cooling system you should be able to see where the leak is coming from. And just because your filling up in the back doesnt mean that the coolant is leaking back there and just not falling into the other sealed spark plug holes. good luck

any ideas on how to pressurize it without the car running? either way i have spent probably 30 minutes under the hood while the car was running to see if i could find any leaks with no success at all...

thank you both for your input, i was hoping that someone would tell me it wasnt the manifold because it is in a different spot but i guess thats not looking like the case...
