Default ram clutch burns easily

I just installed a new ram clutch with my hanlon built 3650, theres about 1000 miles on the clutch/pressure plate. if i allow the clutch to slip even a little bit i can smell it burning, my spec did not used to do this...if i blip the throttle as im releasing the clutch it will do it too. Why does the ram do this over the spec? anyone have this problem?

could just still be breaking in I would imagine, was it installed properly? Clutch disk aligned? Cable adjusted? My spec smelled for a couple hundred miles then it was ready to roll.

I have installed a RAM HDX in my '03 just a year ago now--never smelled a thing--what flywheel are you running, is it the same as used with the Spec?

I have had ram clutch in my car for about 9 months now and no issues. No smell and it works great.

i had my flywheel resurfaced, it was the same one with the spec...everything is setup up properly, its my third time removing clutch/trans so im and never had a problem any other time...it doesnt do it all the time, just whenever i slip it by releasing it too slow and giving it more gas such as in reverse or making a uturn on the road from a stop
