Shorties aren't even worth the hassle of the pita install, either longtubes or leave it alone. Id pick up a high flow catted H pipe, or an offroad H depending on how loud you wan't it.

IMO, it's really hard to beat long tubes, o/r h, and flowmaster 40's or 44's. It's not overly loud, not raspy, and just has a great overall tone in general.

Also, do the long tubes or don't do at all. Shorties just aren't worth the hassle IMO. You will be fine over speed bumps and such even if you are lowered a bit. If your ride is really slammed you will need to exercise some caution, but it's not something that can't be dealt with. It is so worth it...trust me.

With the flows i much prefer a o/r h. Even a catted h will sound great, but it would be too quiet for me. That's just my personal preference.

As mentioned above, it is not worth the trouble to install shorty headers. Not enough gain to make it worth the trouble. Do long tubes or leave the stock manifolds on.

The MAC ProChamber mid-pipes are nice! They are kind of in-between an O/R X and O/R H pipe. An O/R X with Flowmasters will absolutely be raspy.

shorties are not worth it on a stock engine, but very much worth it with mods. Don't let people tell you otherwise...
