Default best DD tire for money 315/35/17

I had nitto 555r to start, they were good but didnt last, then i switched to the normal 555 nittos, i like them too, the center is bald and im running 30psi and starting to hydroplane alot, i need new backs and dont want to spend money...im not going to race on them so they dont need to cut sub 2.0 60fts lol just something good to DD on for now and not crash in the rain and last some decent mileage

I wouldnt say they are good/great in the rain but they are predictable so after a few weeks of playing around with them wet and dry you will know when they will break loose and when the will catch after breaking loose. So its a somewhat predictable tire.

I've got the 315 Sumitomo HTR Z's, and they work fine in the rain. Not the best at the track, but they do last forever on the roads

they do fine in the rain and I personally have had no issues with hydroplaining they do have deep channels throughout the tread but i usually try to avoid large puddles of water if possible but they do just fine alot of ppl run them and I have been using that brand since 2005.
