o/r x pipe help?

o/r x pipe help?

So yesterday I installed a MAC o/r x pipe. I drove it a little bit yesterday and drove it today, about 30 miles total. And as of right now the check engine light has not come on. I do not have the MIL eliminator or a tune and I was under the impression that running a o/r pipe I would get an check engine light. Any ideas?

It will come on it takes about a 100 miles give or take.

mine used to come on in about 60 miles

From the shop manual:

The DTCs associated with this test are DTC P0420 (Bank 1 or Y-pipe system) and P0430 (Bank 2). Because an Exponentially Weighted Moving Average algorithm is used for malfunction determination, up to six driving cycles may be required to illuminate the MIL during normal customer driving. If KAM is reset or the battery is disconnected, a malfunction will illuminate the MIL in 2 drive cycles.
