Inexpensive Mods? (have around $300)
 

Hey guys, how's it going? First of all, I know, use the search button. But there's just so much information it's a bit overwhelming and not exact enough. I know that many of you are far more knowledgeable than me and would know of specific ways to spend the money. I have an 01 GT auto with 4.10 gears, flowmaster exhaust, BBK CAI, and sct livewire tuner. I'm looking to improve power but at the same time I want to be able to efficiently use that power. I've read some good things about lower rear control arms and such. But if you guys think it's not needed and would recommend more power mods before that then feel free to comment (btw, no nitrous, I would rather stay all motor). I just want to make sure I am making the right mods and not blowing money. I'm sure you all know that feeling. Thanks a lot.

If I had $300ish to spend:

Here's what i'd do if not done aleady
option a) h&r sport springs + MM caster camber plates (for ailgnment) = right around 400
option b) MM full length subframe connectors + CHE lca's. = right around 300 bucks or so

*you can alway mix n match what i said here.

But for what your kinda thinking above here.... option B.

What are your goals for the car? Straight line performance? Handling? Is it a daily driver? etc...

Thanks for the suggestions sonic. Yeah, the subframe connectors would be great, I just think it may get expensive with the installation? And mrtstang, it is a daily driver, and I'm looking for something that can take off the line fast while feeling under control, and solid handling for safety, but I don't need a track star. Thanks

Gotcha! IIRC, i paid around a $100 to have my FLSFC's installed.

If you don't already, get some good tires. You can have all the power and suspension mods in the world, but if you just have some basic average street tires your potential will be severly limited.
