I dont know if I'm missing something, but I cannot see a bolt on NA 2v beating a 400 horsepower challenger or charger. Maybe an R/T or something but the big chargers and challengers have big power.

Just give you an idea, my ride n/a was a dead even race with my buddy's stock 2006 6-speed GTO...and that was from a roll. From a dig i did even better. Considering that a 6.0 GTO traps about the same as a SRT8 the OP stands a good chance with the right setup and some good driving. His auto may hurt him a tad from a roll, but other than that he should do well. The weight difference is damn near a 1000 lbs.

those 400 horse monsters are also a monster of a car weight wise. the op has probly a good 1000 pounds less than the dodge. the dodge also has a irs too. the op has a very good chance if he does what he wants with the car

Power to Weight ratio!! Good deal, Now heres a good question for ya. MAC, BBK , Kooks, Pypes give me the run down on these brands(good, better, best). I wanna make sure I do things right and of course make sure I match the headers with the shorty midpipe. Im going with h-pipe with the super 44's

Out of the bunch you listed Kooks is the best, but also the most expensive. After that it depends on who you ask, but i've had great success with my BBK long tubes and h pipe.

Also, dont forget that the engine has changed in the SRTs. They are now using the 6.4L 392...putting out 470 hp and 470 tq. Still heavier, but they are packing 50 more HP and about 90 more ft lbs of tq....

I was assuming the OP was referring to the older SRT8's. If he's talking about the new ones then he's in trouble lol.

Same, Can't imagine how fun it is to drive the new SRT8 Challenger.
