Call UPR, and tell them you need the insert that goes where the driver's side midpipe mounts to the exhaust manifold. If the person you are talking to doesn't know about it, asked to talk to another rep. The first person I talked to there didn't know about it either, and it isn't on their site.

I took it to a shop, had them weld up the catback and line up the x pipe for me. So far no leaks. Still ticking lol. Yesterday I changed the oil to mobile 1 high milage synthetic 5w20. Doesn't sound any better but the motor feels smoother. Next on to the vacuum lines!

so finally go around to the plugs.
As you can see the back plug hole is covered in soot. I replaced the plug, torqued it down to 15lbft. with anti seize. Notice it doesnt tick as much now. Any recommendations on cleaning this out? and cleaning the threads out as it seems like theres some gunk in there.

So an update for those that have had similar issues, and looking for answers. I am uninstalling my bbk off road x-pipe as the ticking increased i could hear it coming from the meeting point of the x-pipe. I guess one of the internal welds might have come free?

It does sound like an exhaust leak. Is one or both of your mufflers plugged the other question is do you have cats in your h-pipe? If either one of those is getting plugged you may not hear the leak until it's under a load. If you climb under it while it's running(start this when it's cold. The pipes will heat up quick.) Feel around all the joints and gaskets.

Does it make the sound when you're just free revving with your shifter in 1st gear (clutch pedal down) and does the car try to roll forward when doing this?
and is there any vibration in your shifter under acceleration?
ps: swapping the stock H pipe back in to test that is probably worth the hour to do it.
