Alright, my rear end of the car is making a clunking noise when I turn in and out of my neighborhood. The road is grooved to let rain channel away from high spots. So think of it as a nice pot hold. When turning out of the neighborhood the rear end makes a clunking noise like something is loose and sort of rattling around.

For a little bit of back story. I orginally put monroe shocks on the backend but one blew out in about 3-4 months. So I replaced them with Bilstein HD shocks. Well after that the noise went away. Then after maybe 6 months the noise started to return. I checked and noticed the orginal quad shock was leaking, so I decided to replace them with Bilsteins. I also undid the bottom bolts for the reg. shocks and they were still tough to compress.

Well installed the new quad shocks and the noise is still there. So would the bilstein's break that fast where I have to get new ones? Also the car is lowered with FRPP conv. springs which I believe is a drop of 1.5" so nothing crazy but would that cause the shocks not to work?

How do the bushings look on the control arms? Is the sway bar cracked? Iff all that checks out adn the shocks are good, id drain the pumpking and fill it with new fluid along with the proper amount of friction modifier, could be the clutch packs beginning to fail.
