Default Confirming 4.10's in 98 GT

I couldnt find the edit for my original thread but i did go out and take some pictures of my tach and speedo at 55 and 60mph in 5th gear. Just wanting to be certain of my gear set.

Looks about what mine does and I have 4.10's. But if you want to be sure, do this. Jack the rear of your car up and secure it with jackstands. Put the car in neutral and mark a spot on the driveshaft. Rotate one of the tires one full revolution and count how many times the mark on the driveshaft rotates. If it rotates just over 4 times you have 4.10's and if it rotates about 3 3/4 times, you have 3.73's.

With those tires, you should be close to 2230rpm at 60mph if you have 4.10 gears. It appears that is what you have in the rear.

Thanks bud. Yea the mods to the car where unknown when i bought it. Ive been uncovering a little more each day lol.
