Default patroit cams

anyone ever use these cams...i know they have issued with their heads..i picked up a set of brand new ones over the weekend and can't find much info about them..
they look to be stage 2 here are the specs...
233/237 Duration, .545"/.550" Lift, 113 Lsa.
anyone think these are any good?
also got a set of frpp beehive springs...

Pretty much identical to Comp 270AH

They ain't gonna fit with a stock 4.6 though..............

Yes PTV issues is what he means. You'll either need modified intake valves or notched pistons.

It's kind of weird because they shouldn't fit according to what Nick says but there are many people running those cams in their stock 4.6. My guess is they aren't running at the advertised intake centerline.

that sucks...i got them for next to nothing...in the little research i did i have heard some say they would work and some say not...

Exactly, retarding that big cam spec to fit kills power everywhere. Here is a dyno from a blower car with cams very similar to those, he dropped one cam size smaller and made another 30RWHP and 3MPH at the track (now has same cams as you Mr Lizzy).
