Will the ford PI manifold fit with the regular stock parts that hook up too it like hoses and gaskets? if not where can i get the PI parts to go with it
if you have a 96-98 gt with a NPI motor, its a little more work to bolt it in, gotta make some changes and buy different parts. but any PI manifold will bolt right up to any 99-04 GT.
almost forgot, this is a good writeup by some guy on here(mighta been blackmage) on how to put a PI manifold on an NPI motor. or just take out a few of the steps and its how to swap a bad manifold for a good one
^^^or FRPP also the Dorman made ones arent bad either. Same as the FRPP
The PI Dorman manifold is a POS. I bought one and brought it back 10 minutes later. It's a "universal" fit for all 4.6L engines Ford uses in all models and comes with an assortment of spacers and generator brackets to make it fit you particular model.
But on top of that the runners are smaller than the Ford manifold, as is the lower plenum which is at least 75% the volume of the stock manifold.
The FRPP unit is identical to the stock PI manifold.
