Default FUEL INJECTORS

How much HP can each size fo fuel injector support? I am trying to figure out what size I am going to need and don't want to pick too small a size. I am leaning twords the #30 injectors. Here are my calculations (useing the info on RPM's website to calculate flow rate/hp for injector size) as to what each will support, am I correct?

#19 240hp

#24 305hp

#26 330hp

#30 384hp

What kind of mods are you doing that would require a fuel system upgrade?

I am going to be installing the P-51 intake with a set of fox lake stage 2 heads and VT stage 2 cams. And if the above # are correct then I am at the end of what my stock #19 injectors can handle. Car was dynoed at 243 rwhp

I have not checked to see if I have #24 stock, I thought they came with #19 injectors stock, but I may very well be wrong. Even if I do have #24 injectors how much hp can they support?

Also remember,

Must use with correctly calibrated mass air meter when upgrading to larger injectors, or your car will not run correctly !
For example: 24lb injectors must be used with a mass air meter calibrated for 24lb injectors.

VT Stage 2 Camshafts (SOHC)

Hot street cam, needs 3.55+ gears. 2400+ stall. Intake, exhaust, computer and spring upgrade recommended. Agressive idle. RPM range 3000-6500+.
