I have had my wheels balanced multiple times and I still have a nasty vibration. They are American muscle 03 cobra wheels. Changed rear tire from nitto to sumitomo and I have nitto fronts. Still vibration. I also changed my qa1 front end to the Upr front end with mm cc plates. New bumpsteer kit new inner tie rods. I do have play in my steering idk if it is the rack or shaft. I did replace the shaft months ago with one from mps auto salvage. I can not get this vibration to go away at highway speeds.

If you haven't yet done so, find a tire shop that can do a "road force" balance and that has a machine that's not all beat to heck.

The Hunter '9700 balancer can also check the runout and dynamic balance of just the wheel to make sure it is not bent or otherwise damaged.

thats the one they have at the place i went to. one a balancer it looks like a bent wheel but they said they got them balanced and still sucks, seems as when i put a slight load on the wheel like switching lanes on a highway i get more of a nasty vibration then driving straight

Did they do the road force balance?

It takes a bit longer and they usually charge a bit extra for it...

Are you able to rotate the tires to see if it changes the vibration at all? Might not even be a tire problem.

Ask them, if they did not then it might fix your problem--I had the same issue with the OEM Bullitt Wheels that came on my '03, the road force balance fixed it up.

On the early Miatas it was the only way the get rid of a 60mph "cowl shake" vibration that nearly all experienced.

no i cant rotate them because the rears are 315...i have 2 v6 wheels with **** worn tires in my attic ill put on the front and try it out

If you have a bent wheel, that's your issue.

My first thought was that it's not a tire issue, but a vibration from something else.
Can you describe the vibration more?
