Default heads?????help!!!!

i have a 96 gt with stock heads. I want to switch heads. Now i know about the hp gain in the pi heads but there are more 4.6 heads out there. Does any one know of a set of heads that gain more hp on a 4.6 that are reasonable in price?

Unfortunately the PI heads are your only option.

Another option that you might concider is going DOHC, if you can find them. Look in Lincolins, I think all post '96V8s except a few Towncars have them. Time to go wrecking yard shopping.......

I checked up on that, theheads will bolt up. He just has to make sure that he transfers the whole cam drive assembly to his block. Modular engines are just cool like that.

I havn't done it myself but the modular block is used on both and the same crank. The only possible difficulty would be the chain tention mechanisim. I dont know where that is mounted. I really doubt that is going to be a problem though, because it is a modular block.
