Ok guys i need some help. i bought a 02 mustang gt with 35k miles on it now 36k and i needed to clean the engine bay. it was all nasty from sitting while the older sellers went to florida. just dusty etc etc... i sprayed the engine off today while engine was running and used air hose to dry it but i think i got water somewhere i shouldnt have! it still starts but takes a little longer than before i cleaned it. it started perfect before now i have to hold key over and it turns over a few times before firing. any ideas? do i need to dry plugs out or coils or just drive it for a few days and see what happens? any opinions would be great thanks! and if you guys want some pics of my baby now let me know!

Sounds like you got water in the coils.

Agreed. I'd try WD40 on the coils. Whenever washing my engine bay, I immediately spray with WD40, then wipe it all down.

ok i'll have to try wd40 next time thanks guys and it dried up overnight and she runs like a champ and starts like on now too!! but thanks for that! now i need to put some photos up on here!
