Default Underdrive pulleys without the alt pulley?

Can I use it without the alternator pulley? How can I tell the difference between 01 to 04 and 01 and before? Thanks guys, found a great deal!

the water pump pulleys are different between the years. and yes you can leave the stock alt pulley on.

You may need a shorter belt if you use the stock generator pulley...

I was able to use my stock belt with the stock alt pulley. depends how much slack you have left in the tensioner.

Is there a reason you don't want the alt pulley on? I don't have any problems with keeping the battery charged with mine on and I do a lot of short trips. I was more worried about water pump and engine temps since its so hot here in NM. Even with A/C on full blast in traffic no over heating.
