Hydroboost Part (my Ford dealer is even lost on this one)
I have a 2003 Mach1...the hydroboost needs to be replaced. My insurance company is paying for this so I obviously want a new OEM part...problem is according to the Ford dealership where my car is sitting at, Ford doesn't manufacture this part for my car (hence my dilemma). This car only has 15k...I want something compared to OEM and that is new. Anyone had this problem? Know of any aftermarket companies where I can get this part??? I'm pretty sure this part is different than what is on a GT model mind you, but I'm no expert. Thanks for any advise or knowledge on this issue!
PS new to this forum, couldn't find any past threads about the actual part, just how to work on it...

That is weird that Ford would discontinue the Hydroboost already. there usually is a 10yr service agreement with the suppliers. If I where you I would call another Ford dealer to verify your service agent isn't an idiot.
also try Steve at Tousley Ford: 1-800-328-9552. I think we get A discount for being forum members. Also Autozone does have rebuilt units

It's a Motorcraft part # BRB39. Rock Auto has it for $300. You can get a reman unit for under $150. ($40 core)

search to your model Mach 1 and look under Brake Hub & Wheel, Power Brake Booster
