hey guys,

I installed a pypes o/r x-pipe and it sounds great, but when I'm at speed I hear a hiss noise, not a pop or a grumble, just a hiss. Is this normal for o/r x-pipes or do I have a leak? I dont hear it when I'm in the driveway with my ear under the car or when I rev it in the driveway.

I tightened the bolts on the passenger side manifold and the mufflers. and there is a gasket on the passenger side manifold.

Where is the hiss noise coming from?

I had a leak on my driver's side where the pipe joins the manifold. UPR sells an insert that fits into the xpipe to help get the driver's side nice and snug.

look under your car and look for black exhaust marks where its leaking out...have a friend rev the car when your under it....when the exhasut is cold start the car and move your hand around the pipes to feel for air without burning yourself
