Default I need help!

my 2003 mustang v6 was totaled due to someone running a red light. I am currently looking at a 2000 mustang gt convertible. I have not been able to take it to my mechanic yet, but I have a question about it. The owner says there are about 150k miles on it, but when he started the car, it did not show the mileage. I was wondering what the problem could be, like maybe a fuse, bulb, or something worse. Any help would be appreciated!

How does this guy know there is about 150k, without a working odometer. Trust no one when it comes to buying something that can't be proven. As for the problem, sorry no advice. Someone with more knowledge will probably chime in.

I'm not sure myself, he "seemed" surprised. I am hoping it is a simple fix instead of having to replace the entire cluster.

Does anyone know if the Boss 302 uses the same MT82 getrag transmission that the GT has?
