Default 4r70w and 4r75w Question

Being the genius I am, I seem to have burnt the clutches up pretty well in my 04 Mach. Its got a 4r75w in it. I was just wondering if the 4r70w from a 2002 GT would be interchangeable the current unit.

Thanks.

The 4r75W has a higher torque capacity--750 lbft versus 700 lbft for the 4r70W--this is only a 7% increase so I suppose that from a performance perspective it depends on how hard you push that Mach I.

As to whether they are physically and electrically interchangeable IDK...
