You can run up to 20-22 on the 2.1 I thought, 14 is the highest most people will go on a stock motor because they consider it safe. I run 9psi and am at 412rwhp/436rwtq so on stock motor I'm not gonna run higher. Ill be upping the boost once I'm home and drop my new motor in though

I thought it was no more than 10psi on a stock motor depending on your supporting mods.

I won't run more than 9-10 on a stock motor but I know a lot of people that run 14, some have blown them up, others still going strong for now.

Don't quote me, but IIRC the 2.1 KB is maxed out around 14 psi.

I know one guy that's running 12 psi on the stock bottom end on his 04 gt, and is pushing 450 rwhp. He's been doing so for a while now.

Yeah, almost certain 14psi is max. I run 9 just to be safe. That is until the teksid is build.

The original Tork Teck kits sucked *****. The same M112 blower and psi made more hp on the 3.8L than their 4.6L set up. New ones are great. I've never had an issue and they offer better supercharger head units now instead of just the take off Eaton M112s.

I like PD blowers for street use, because they make power where you actually use them on the street (down low). Just low at how often you are at 3500 RPM on the street vs up by redline.

The reason you don't see a lot of people talking about the KB is the cost usually. Most people here aren't will to spend the money. Look around for a used set up, you can find them and would be very happy.

the only time I get up to around 3500rpm or up to redline is when passing someone up, or intentionally playing/racing around with someone things of that sort. other than that on the streets I try to stay in the vacum side as much as I can and keep the rpms low conserving the fuel for when i want to race or play. Ive seen a few used pd blowers on this site in the classifieds awhile back for like 4grand. thats still on the steep side compared to like a 3grand brand new vortech or whatever. but no hate towards the pd blower at all i want to slap one on my thunderbird. But I love the centri on the stang with the 3.73s.

There's a 2.6 and a 2.1 along with some ****ty 1.7s for sale over on svtperformance right now. I may sell my 2.1 to get the 2.6, I'm asking 3700 (same I paid) for mine. Has around 4k miles on it since it was rebuilt.

The displacement, you can reach 400rwhp with a 1.7 but its pretty much pegged out. Its just one if their earlier blowers, I'm pretty sure parts are no longer made for them since they aren't produced anymore.
