Could somebody help me find where 24" o2 extension harnesses are sold?
Hello everyone, I recently bought a magnaflow catted x pipe for my 04 gt. After buying it I realized that I need to buy a set of 24" o2 extension harnesses, but I have no idea where they're sold! I've looked everywhere and even called american muscle (they only have the 18" ones). Strangely, they offer the 24's with the x pipe but not separately.
This is the part I bought (they explain on the page about the o2 extensions being necessary). http://www.americanmuscle.com/1999-2...ted-xpipe.html
If somebody knows where to get these your input would help me very much! Thank you.

Just cut the wires between the sensor and the harness and butt splice in additional wire as needed.
Use standard 18 gauge automotive wire, and a compression type crimping tool¹--fill the connectors with dielectric grease before inserting the wires, and tape it all up when done.
---------------------------------------------------
¹ - This is a proper crimping tool anything else, either the squashing type (which is always unacceptable) or even a staking type tool is for this application crap:
HF has this tool for $12, often on sale for $10. This is close to the deal of the Century as I paid $100 years ago for just the Paladin Tools (no relation unfortunately) die set...
Here are examples of the squashing and staking type tools, as stated above I do not recommend the staking type for connections that will be exposed to the elements (even taped up):
