That is weird. I have gotten cars inspected in Kaufman and Dallas county and never once gotten the sniffer on anything newer than 96. Hell, my inspection guy will hook up a code reader and tell people if it will pass before they pay.

You know what? I've been reading on it and I think you're correct. I'll ask next time around. Maybe they need a little training?
