Default CEL - 0141 and 0161

0141: HO2S12 heater condition bank 1 sensor 2
0161: HO2S22 heater condition bank 2 sensor 2

04 GT stock 5-speed 110K miles original O2 sensors.

I was looking to replace the both front O2 sensors anyway, but wasn't planning on doing the rear 2. Is there a good chance that will fix these issues, or is this more likely to be something else?
(in another post, cliffy had mentioned about the O2 sensors tend to go bad after time, and after 7+ years/110K miles it seemed like that could also apply to me, even before this happened).

Thanks...

It would be quite odd to have both rear sensors fail at once so I would first make certain the wiring is all intact.

Here is what the shop manual says about P0141/0161 (it's the same as P0135). Replacing the front sensors will of course not resolve a rear sensor problem...

Thanks Cliff... your site is one of the first I checked, but it didn't specify whether these were the front, back, left, or right sensors. The guys at AZ weren't overly helpful on that aspect of it either... one thought it was both of the passenger side sensors (the banks were front and back and the sensors were driver and passenger side).

I guess need to make this

more prominent; sensor 1 is front, sensor 2 is the rear...

Cliff, I'm sure I'm not the only one that really appreciates all the work you have put into all of your information. When I went to your site, I went straight to the DTC lookup, I didn't think to look in the O2 sensor section as I wasn't looking for how they worked (yet... that would have come later). Now that I went looking for that chart, I found it.
