Next upgrade after 4.10 gears - any suggestions?
Ok, so I got 4.10's and an SCT chip in my 2001 GT a couple weeks ago.
No complaints, love them!
Problem is, now I've got the bug.... ready to start planning my next upgrade, but want to do things in the smartest most logical order.
I thought about CAI, but I don't really think there would be much benefit there since the car really already has one from the factory.
Throttle body/intake plenum, thought about these also, but since I eventually want to replace the heads and manifold, I'm not sure it makes sense to do TB or plenum right now...
Anyway, I'm open to suggestions. Money IS an object, but if the next upgrade ends up being an expensive one, that just means I'll have to save for a couple months, which will give me time to research and make the right decision.
For reference, the car is an auto vert.
Maybe sub-frame connectors?
I plan to stay NA, and will really only run the car at the strip occasionally, but I would like to have the performance/power available at the pedal when needed.
Thanks guys!

I'm not opposed to that at all. There are so many options out there for exhaust. I'll admit it gets a little confusing...
It does need to stay emissions legal, though I am in VA, which isn't as bad as the poor guys in CA
I assume best approach is to do a complete exhaust overhaul, meaning headers and all the way back?
Suggestions?

There are a lot of ways to look at this. The best total system (in terms of sound and power) will include long tube headers, o/r mid pipe (maybe high flow cats depending on the setup) and a full cat back exhaust. It also depends on how you want to deal with the emissions in your area, and what they define as okay and not okay.

So the car is not really my daily driver, though I do drive it to and from work from time to time. It definitely needs to be streetable, but I would like to take it to the drag strip every now and then just for fun - no intentions to turn it into a race car.
Really my goal is to achieve somewhere around 350hp. I don't know if that is unrealistic with the 4.6 modular naturally aspirated, but that's kind of what I have in my head at least right now.

If staying n/a 350 at the crank can be done with a really basic HCI setup. Something that would be totally streetable and whatnot. 350 at the wheel would require a very aggressive HCI setup that would not be as street friendly.

I vote for exhuast!! Also, if you expect to get 350 to rear wheels my friend, be ready to spend a ton of money. Especially if you plan on staying N/A..
