Default New exhaust setup

Got my exhaust work done a few days ago. I got Flowmaster Super 44's welded in place of the factory mufflers and got the two rear cats taken off and just pipe welded in place. Two other cats still on and no CEL.

Sounds great to me, nice tone but I want to go louder. I kept reading about "break-in time" for the mufflers and they'll get louder after a few hundred miles. Is this true?

People tell me it's already loud and sounds nice but I want louder. I'm thinking of going UPR O/R X next. I saw a video on Youtube of a white GT with this same setup and it inspired me. How much louder can this be?

I'll post the video later, having some trouble now.

I'm not positive, but IIRC the break in time thing only really applies to straight through style mufflers that have some kind of packing.

IMO just do a o/r h pipe, and take off the other cats. It will be quite a bit louder, and with the 44's it will sound really good.

The UPR O/R X pipe will make it much louder. I think you'll love the sound and I think it'll make it much louder like you're looking for. I can almost guarantee you'll pick up chicks while cruising with that exhaust setup!

Happy modding!

Here it is. Nothing special compared to what some of you guys are running but I like it for now.

Well I suggest getting the O/R X pipe if you're wanting louder. I saw a video on youtube of a car with the UPR O/R X and Super gay 44s and it sounded so sexy. You should definitely do it!

Post a video if you ever do!
