As guys get older, they get less closed minded and realize that not everyone is like them, nor wants to be.

I agree that gears are one of the best mods, so take some time before deciding which ratio to go with. I have a local guy that does my installs pretty cheap, so I have changed ratios a few time for different reasons. I also agree that a 3.90 ratio is a pretty good compromise ratio if you are uncertain which to go with.
