Ok so its been a while since i've been on here. I've been workin crazy overtime the last 2 months. I put a nice portion of my overtime towards my car. Lets say i don't think anyone would recognize it now. Anyway, for the longest time i've had a weird put sound in my exhaust at odd times. I'd like to know why so i can clean up the sound a little bit. That being said, the put sound, sounds like jiffy pop lol. Only at idle, and it pops every now and then, and while holding the car at 1500 rpm its its a rapid pop. It doesn't do it any other time. Its extremely annoying. I had thoughts it could be an exhaust leak somewhere since my exaust pops loud when downshifting, like some air is getting in there. But i also figured that downshifting pop could be cause of the o/r x with dumps. Another idea someone threw at me is i could have a bad cam positioning sensor, but i don't know. Thanks for any help, i wanna get this crap figured out.
