I thought about a vert, but don't want the hassle of replacing the cover whenever it rips. And I know plenty of guys around that area whose covers were ripped just for the hell of it.

I guess, but in Jersey you have a tri-state area of nice pickin's. I'd wait if I were you. Catch a military hop to jersey for cheap and buy a Mustang somewhere around there. If I were you I'd start searching Jersey, new york, PA, Delaware, Maryland Craigslist sites.

Big towns are just to far from one another down here. Up there you'll have a much better chance of finding what you really want.

Geuss you're right. I'm looking there now (N.J., PA and De). Just haven't found anything yet that's caught my eye for 9k.

If the cars down here weren't so high in the mileage I'd say go for it, but I know they'll be a 50,000-60,000 mile nice GT up there for less than $8,000.

If I get bored later I'll look on some northeast craigslist sites. Check autotrader too.
