i currently have a pro 5.0 right now and i love it, however my buddy is selling me an mgw at a price and cannot refuse, so ill be trying it out in a few days

Well guys I successfully installed my MGW shifter, took about 45 minutes, not a single issue. I have the silver handle, its a much shorter shift then my old triax. Love it man, a nice solid feel. I was able to use a 1/4 thick insulation pad i had from my previous MGW shifter on my 2010. all i did was cut it to fit my 2004...love the **** i chose as well...

Yes i did , i like it allot....my previous **** didn't have a lock and would spin itself loose....

Glad you like it, I hate mine. My hand slips off it too easily I think. The lock part of it is pretty nice though....
