i got $400 to spend and i am thinking gears. what all will i need to get for it? i want 410's. my dads friend is a mechanic so i think i might be able to get him to help with the install but if he cant i will have to take it to a shop and get them installed.

if you can get the gears for that much installed, that's definately the best mod you can get. most noticable for the money too. you're going to pay another $100 or more for a speedcal or chip though.

if you have a 99-04GT 5spd, i have a speedcal for 50 bux paypal.

if you waited to get a chip, your speedometer will be off by a bit. oh, and you'll start racking up miles a lot quicker. it's not going to hurt anything else but that.
